Why you aren’t losing weight?

Everyone has a desired body figure. Some people want to gain weight, some want to lose weight and some people want to get the perfect 8 figure body shape. People go to extreme lengths to achieve their dream body figure and typically their go for the short route but that route is usually expensive, sometimes harmful to your health, depressing if you repeatedly try different shortcuts. What if you can lose weight the right way although it takes time, requires discipline and consistency. So why don’t people lose weight

Losing weight can be a handful and cost money but while you are struggling with weight loss have you wondered why you actually not losing weight after following the typical weight loss programs. Well, I would break down why you are actually not losing weight.

1. Calories

Weight gain and loss is all about counting your calories. I know it can be hard counting the calories you eat but i have a solution to that. You can get a calorie counter from MyFoodDiary which makes it extremely easy to count your calories and analysis your calorie intake progress.

The recommended daily calorie intake is 2,000 calories a day for women and 2,500 for men. So if you want to lose weight you want your calorie intake below the 2,000-2,500 calorie mark. While you are striving to lose weight you need to remember that you need to eat and get your necessary nutrients in order to prevent fatigue or any other health issue. 2. Unrealistic Goals/No Goals

Having a goal gives you a vision of where you are going and where you want to be. You can not drive around with no destination and wonder why you are constantly out of gas and stranded in nowhere. You need to have goals but realistic one because unrealistic goals would scare you away from your journey toward weight loss/ gain. When making goals start small and build on that. Progressively improve your goal. Do not focus heavily on the final destination but the journey.

3. Unhealthy Choices

Aside from losing weight, you should be making healthy choices for your general well being. Try as much as possible to limit the junk food you consume, stop smoking, limit alcohol consumption. Instead, take up good habits like working out, staying hydrated, eating a balanced diet, sleeping well.

4. Stress Level

Chronic stress, or poorly managed stress, leads to elevated cortisol levels that stimulate your appetite, with the end result being weight gain or difficulty losing unwanted pounds.

5. Sleep Deprivation

Aside from helping with weight loss, sleep is great for your general well being, gives your body time to repair itself and stabilise. Studies show that poor sleep is one of the single biggest risk factors for obesity. Adults and children with poor sleep have a 55% and 89% greater risk of becoming obese, respectively.

So you might want to rethink staying up all night and hitting the hay earlier.
